Budget-Friendly Sites for Home Decor

My boyfriend + I are on the brink of moving into a new apartment so naturally I’ve started planning every detail of every room. Countless hours + saved items later, I’ve discovered some really great sites with beautiful home decor whether you’re in the market for a sofa sectional or a crochet wall hanging — these places have everything you’re searching for + some. The best part? You won’t break the bank.

Wayfair

You’ve probably heard of Wayfair by now but for good reason. They have one of the widest selections of furniture, decor, rugs, lighting, you name it. Their prices vary from high-end to low-end but the quality is always on point. Amazon

This one’s a given, right? You can literally find anything you want on Amazon + for a pretty unbelievable price. I rely heavily on reviews when i’m shopping + Amazon does a great job of providing reviews for their products so you know what you’re getting yourself into before you click “Add to Cart.”

At Home

I recently discovered this Texas-based superstore + I’m never going back. You can easily furnish your entire home on a budget just by shopping at At Home. Every week, they offer a “Flash Find,” which is their incredible flash sale on one type of item whether it’s rugs, baskets, or Christmas trees, + you can snag them for an unreal price. Although you can’t purchase directly from their site, you can create a “favorites list” on their website + the site will tell you where to find it in-store.

Target

From brands like Opalhouse to Hearth + Hand, Target has all the affordable + fetching decor you could ever dream. Design hack: One of my favorite sections to shop at Target is their dollar section. I found a set of beautiful marbled measuring cups for only $3. From storage supplies + candles to seasonal finds + kitchen tools, their dollar section never disappoints.

World market

If you are looking for unique or specialty home decor, World Market is the place to go. They import furniture, decor, rugs, curtains + more from all over the world. The uniqueness of their products comes with an affordable price tag which is why I love this store so much. Aside from their home section, they also have an exceptional selection of gifts + international food products. World Market is one of those places where you’ll be looking for one thing but end up leaving with something completely different!

Society6

Society6 is a great place to find unique art from real artists. They have a huge collection of artwork from all over the world such as wall prints, stationary + apparel. So not only do you get some beautiful art for your home, you also support the artist that creates the piece as well. I plan on filling my home with lots of art + most of it will come from Society6.

Etsy

Etsy is similar to Society6 in that it is a site for people to sell handmade, vintage + custom items. One of my favorite items that I’ve ever bought from Etsy was for my boyfriend’s mom’s lake home in Minnesota. I found a seller who specialized in vintage maps + she was able to create a vintage drawing of the exact lake she lives by with the coordinates of her home. It was unique, thoughtful + so special. If you’re looking for a custom-made piece for your home, Etsy is likely to have it.

Although moving can be a huge pain in the you-know-what, I love redecorating + dreaming of new ways to liven up a space. I hope I was able to provide you with some inspiration to fill your home when you’re on a budget. Let me know in the comments what other places you love to home shop!

Love + light,

Cris
