Fashion Pieces to Fall in Love With

It’s that time of year again where we put away our swimsuits and say farewell to summer. Time to shake the dust off our cozy sweaters, boots and scarves because our beloved fall is here!

Fall has to be my favorite season. There is something about crisp mornings, football Sundays + toasty cinnamon drinks that bring me so much joy. I always get excited at the beginning of each new season because I get to swap out my wardrobe + switch things up. This fall, I’m playing with hats, belts + capes. No, not like superhero capes but it will make you feel pretty magical.

Hope you guys enjoy!

  1. baker boy caps

I’ve been wearing hats nonstop lately + boy caps are having a major moment. Pair this with a slouchy or oversized sweater, jeans + some booties. You can make an ordinary fall outfit look super chic + effortless.

2. combat boots

Obviously boots have to be in our fall wardrobe. Combat boots are great because they can make a feminine outfit look a little more badass - which I strive to be. Pair this with a mini dress, mid-length skirt or some jeans, a simple blouse + a jacket.

3. animal print

Whether its snake, leopard or zebra print - it’s all fair game this season. Have fun with this + opt for snake print pants or a jumpsuit. If you’re not ready to commit heavily to this trend, you can still make a statement with a cheetah belt or booties. All faux, of course.

4. Capes/ponchos

A twist on the basic cardigan - are the timeless capes and ponchos! What I love most about capes are their versatility. You can vamp them up with a dress + over-the-knee boots. Or you can dress them down with jeans + booties. Either way, it will look effortless!

5. statement belt

From time to time I like adding a statement belt to my outfit to not only flaunt my curves but bring my whole outfit to life! You can incorporate a belt over a blazer, a sweater dress, or your favorite jeans. Basically anything.

Try it:

Zara Metallic Mesh Belt

Free People Eternity Leather Belt
